To qualify, your technology must:
What happens after you apply?
We review your application to assess eligibility, determine whether verification is feasible, and identify and resolve any potential conflicts of interest. A representative will contact you within 5–10 days of receiving your application to discuss eligibility and next steps. There is no charge for the screening review.
At this stage, we also discuss the appropriate testing approach for your technology:

Once your performance claim is verified, you become an ETV Graduate and receive:
Your verification is valid for three years. To keep it active, you must renew it at the end of this period. Renewal confirms that no significant changes have been made to your technology that could affect its verified performance.
Understand how performance claims are assessed. The General Verification Protocol establishes the criteria and procedures that Verification Entities follow to deliver consistent, rigorous evaluations.
Build a strong foundation for verification. The General Test Protocol guides technology providers and testing organizations in producing accurate, reliable and reproducible data that meet ETV’s quality requirements.
Developed where a need for technology-specific testing guidance was identified, these protocols reflect stakeholder consultation and consensus on test parameters, conditions and procedures.
